Adventure Year 2004
| In 2004 we teamed up with KE
Adventure for a year of adventure enabling 5 people to combine the
trip of a lifetime with helping the environment. Tourism
and conservation can work together by you raising money to put
something directly back into the environment of both Jersey and the
country of your adventure. What was on offer?
In addition to the trip cost, the five participants were required to raise a minimum of £750; all of which was be used to fund ongoing projects of both the Gerard Le Claire Environmental Trust in Jersey and the Juniper Trust in the country of the adventure. In line with the ethos of the three organisations involved, all trips were run on environmentally and socially sound principles. |
